Spark EDGE is a portable 4-channel Smart Guitar Amp & PA system designed for musicians who demand versatility and power in a compact, portable package. What about the app in Spark EDGE, is it the same app as the original Spark?

Yes, it’s the same app. But when you connect it to the Spark EDGE, you will get access to features such as AI Tone (beta), looper functionality and more. Channel 1 and Channel 2 are dedicated to electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and vocals. You can choose between these 2 channels to load different amps and effects dedicated to each instrument. Plus, a mixer view is included to control each channel’s input levels.

Can I still use my current Spark app tones in the app and in ToneCloud on Spark EDGE?

Yes you can!

How many amps and effects does Spark EDGE come with?

Spark EDGE comes with a wide selection of 36 amp models and 50 effects, all accessible through the Spark app. Channel 1 includes amps and effects for guitar, bass, acoustic, and vocals. Channel 2 includes amps and effects for vocals, bass and acoustic guitar.

What inputs and outputs does Spark EDGE have?

Spark EDGE comes with 2x XLR / 1/4" combo inputs, 2x 1/4" instrument inputs, 1x 1/8" headphone output, 2x 1/4" line output (L/Mono & R), and 1x Din 5 Pin MIDI Input.

How many onboard presets does Spark EDGE have?

Spark EDGE comes with 16 onboard presets. Channels 1 and 2 come with 2 banks each, and each bank contains 4 presets. You can customize any onboard presets in Spark EDGE and save your own presets via the Spark app.

Can Spark EDGE be battery powered? How long does the battery in Spark EDGE last?

Yes, Spark EDGE is compatible with Spark Battery (sold separately) and you can play for up to 10 hours.

Does Spark EDGE come with a footswitch?

Spark EDGE is compatible with Spark Control X (sold separately) offering maximum standalone footswitch control with or without the Spark app. Spark Control X must be purchased separately.

Can I use Spark EDGE with bass or other instruments?

Yes, Spark EDGE is compatible with various instruments, including bass, acoustic guitar, keyboards, synths, microphone/voice, electronic drums, and any other instrument with a line level output.

How loud is Spark EDGE?

The maximum sound pressure of Spark EDGE is 116dB (RMS) / 120dB (Peak). It’s loud enough to draw a crowd!

Does Spark EDGE come with a looper?

Yes, Spark EDGE comes with 2 kinds of loopers: a Simple Looper and a Creative Groove Looper, that includes hundreds of drum patterns of any style. Control the looper using the Spark app or the Spark Control X footswitch. The looper is available for any instrument plugged into Channel 1.

Is Spark EDGE portable?

Spark EDGE weighs just under 13.6 lbs, making it lighter and more portable than other amps and PA systems in its class. It also features a road worthy handle. And with optional battery power, you can perform anywhere.

Can I swap out the grille in Spark EDGE?

Spark EDGE comes equipped with a bold, midnight grille that lets your performance shine. Also available are optional grilles (sold separately) that are designed to make a statement before you even play a note.

Will Spark EDGE be available in my country?
